London

We arrived in London safely. We were a little disappointed with our seats on the Eurostar as we didn't have a window. Anyway the trip was quick and comfortable. We even caught the metro to our accommodation in south Kensington. I won't tell u how long it took to walk to the motel that was minutes from the station. Never get directions from a police person!

Alex and Rosie came over and we went out for dinner.  It was great to see them and we had a most enjoyable evening.  Today we caught up with them at London Bridge station and visited the Borough markets. Yum! We sampled some of the great food, including 2 ginormous oysters.  I have included photos to make you envious!!

Alex And Rosie left after lunch and Bruce and I walked across London
Bridge and down along the river to the Tower of London, where took in a very interesting guided walk as well as did some exploring ourselves.

We then walked over the Tower Bridge and back to the train station.  Lovely day. We have been solo lucky with the weather.  Blue skies and reasonably warm.  (Very different to the weather they had in London last week)
